About me
Ashley is an accredited trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine as well as an American Counsel of Exercise Fitness Instructor. She has a Bachelors from the University of Connecticut in Allied Health Sciences where she concentrated on Public Health and Psychology. Ashley was a former athlete in track and field, soccer, tennis, and college rugby.
Her coaching method focuses on helping people find peace with their bodies and find joy in movement and nutrition. After witnessing most of her family struggle with obesity and food related issues and the impact of negative diet culture and fitness misinformation, she found it important to educate herself on research backed methods to helping others navigate the complexities of health and wellness. She focuses on helping clients find balance in their routines as they move towards a sustainable healthy lifestyle.
Currently, Ashley is a graduate student at UC Berkeley pursuing a Masters in Public Health Nutrition. Her goal with her clients is to combine holistic approaches to help support clients work towards long term health and longevity. In her coaching, she combines her knowledge in nutrition, fitness, and psychology to better support her clients. She believes workouts should be fun, safe, and sustainable. Her clients describe her as warm, uplifting, energetic, and determined. Ashley loves working with people who are working on becoming stronger, those new to fitness and seniors.
